I never thought I would be taking wisdom from Margaret Thatcher. She was another leader who destroyed worlds. Still a really good point to make Paulette everything we are and do is based on the words we use πŸ’—

That made me chuckle out loud, Susan. I get it - yet people remember her words, though I choose to think of their true source as The Upanishads.

Glad that made you chuckle, I think that is the best response to crazy politicians πŸ˜‚

Let’s stick to the timeless wisdom of The Upanishads , thank you πŸ™πŸ»

A truly deep message you bring to Substack today: Words have power, and the thoughts behind them carry enormous power.

Thank you, Meredith.

It brings to mind our exchange the other day. How important it is to hold differing opinions and to do so with clarity and curiosity, in our minds and in the way we speak. Thank you for reading and commenting.

β€œWords carry power”

to harm, hurt, and to help, heal.

Intention, impact.

...

Skillful speech, action

matter in matters of... all.

Gifted, exchanged, shared.

Thank you, Marisol. Your gift of distillation is a blessing.

The Upanishads definitely had it right. (with Margaret borrowing it).

You remind me of the importance of the Four Gates of Speech, too, Jeanine.

We aren't alone Paulette, so good to remember.

Remembering that feels like a warm blanket wrapped around our hearts.

"We are not meant to navigate these times alone." Thank you. I agree. Thank you for holding the complexity of being and juxtaposing Margaret Thatcher with the wisdom of Matrika Shakti.

Oh, thank you, Corie. I so appreciate you feeling into that.
