Okay, so while reading this the only thing I could think of was White Lotus. Are you familiar with the series?

I feel like something bizarre is about to happen in the following parts. Your writing is so descriptive!

Oh my gosh, yes. The Sicily White Lotus was crazy. You actually ignited this memory with one of your Jamaica posts. I don't remember which one. But the White Lotus mention makes me smile!

Maybe it's not bizarre, but it's totally unexpected.

Thank you for sharing this part of your history with us. Had to be something to be in Italy during those times. I was there in 1984 but it was calm by then. Can't wait for Part 2 :)
